
Jones Bootmaker is a leading high-street shoe retailer selling designer-inspired footwear for men, women and children. Jones also sell some of the leading fashion footwear brands including Merrell, Timberland, Camel Active, Ecco and Hush Puppies. Jones has over 85 stores and an established online retail presence.
The Brief
To design, develop and operate a contemporary and functional online store to enable the company to expand to the next level of growth. Key deliverables were to maximize search traffic, sales conversion and basket value, measurable through online analytics.
What We Did
The task was to replicate their range of products and seasonal campaigns online to directly reflect the high-street-store feel and advertising campaigns.
Key elements that we focused on were:
- Selecting a technology partner to build a new online store incorporating new features and scalability to take the company to the next level of growth
- Understanding core operational processes and recommending changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Redesigning the online store incorporating improved search capabilities and usability techniques to improve sales conversion
