Background:
Jones Bootmaker is a leading high-street shoe retailer selling designer-inspired footwear for men, women and children. Jones also sells some of the leading fashion footwear brands including Merrell, Timberland, Camel Active, Ecco and Hush Puppies. Jones has over 85 stores and an established online retail presence.
The Brief
To design and build a completely bespoke e-commerce system with which Jones Bootmaker can operate and grow their online business. To replicate their current branding and present the Jones Bootmaker product range within a clear, user-friendly and fully optimized retail store.
To provide a full content management system integrated with their internal stock and merchandising system with which Jones Bootmaker can edit and update the site content, its products and its promotions.
To integrate a brand new payment gateway with the customer services system and the bank.
To provide a performance reporting suite and marketing functionality to include the integration of affiliate networks.
What We Do Now
Having assigned the correct technology partner to build the new online store and delivering the requirements, incorporating new features and providing the future capacity for future growth, we now assist Jones Bootmaker on an ongoing basis.
We work closely with Jones Bootmaker understanding core operational processes and recommending changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
We provide assistance in the running of relevant online marketing campaigns and provide the design and development to improve core features, such as search capabilities and usability techniques to improve the sales conversion rate.
