Their Nibs was established in the heart of London's Notting Hill Gate during 2003 with a second shop following in 2009. Founder, Fiona Bell, recognised that the children's clothing market was crying out for a vibrant, fresh and inventive alternative to the branded mainstream and to the high street stores that lacked originality and flair.

The Brief

To redesign their current online retail store to complement their vibrant, fresh and inventive approach to kids clothing, reflecting their offering of a unique and eclectic designer kids clothes collection which combines an unconventional quirk with classic elegance.

To fully optimized the online retail store on the Magento platform to include custom-built content management pages to display and market the collection, imagery and brand.

To provide a full content management system with which to update all elements of the website and to fully operate their online business. To fully integrate with a payment gateway and to implement tracking for analytics.

What We Did

The task was to replicate their range of products and seasonal campaigns online to directly reflect the retail store and advertising campaigns. But then extended to merchandise their new Spring/Summer collection.

Key elements that we focused on were;

  • Reviewing the site usability and recommending new functionality to increase sales conversion rate and the basket value, leading to the launch of a new-look website with a larger product offering.
  • Managing the set-up and merchandising of the initial store
  • Assisting with and deploying any development requests as and when required on both the website and the CMS
